A fine wool panel featuring an ancient Egytian motif. This textile has a small label on its backside that states “Made in Japan. 100% wool. The Treasures of Tutankhamun. Dry-clean only. MMA”, which indicates that it was created in Japan specifically for the the museum shop during the important Tutankhamun exhibit held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1978. Very good condition: the panel is professionally glued to a board backing. 43” x 43”
